We came back from our honeymoon right after Christmas and settled down into married life very quickly. We are both substitute teaching everyday wherever we can get a job. Chris prefers to be at the high school or work with P.E. classes, and I prefer to be in an elementary class of course. Those junior high kids scare me! I am also tutoring two Korean girls who have only been in America for a year and need some extra help with English. They are so cute! I work with them two days a week and I am enjoying getting to work out whenever I can. I stay busy in the evenings by cooking yummy meals for Chris and I (and Janedoe) and doing other good wife things like cleaning the house and doing laundry. Chris is even more busy than I am. Not only does he substitute teach every day, but he squeezes in a tough workout and running and throwing at the baseball field at Auburn. Wow! He works so hard every day, and is getting prepared for Spring Training. We are confident that all his hard work will pay off. After doing all of that in one day, he comes home and makes Janedoe and I happy all evening! We love to take Janedoe for walks every chance we get, and she pouts when we get too busy to take her to the park. We are a very busy family but married life has been wonderful so far and it is such a blessing to be with the person you love everyday.
